My first idea for the front cover of the Digipak was this simple design of my eye and then the album information. I thought this image was nice but it wasn’t striking or original. I went on to Photoshop and thought up different things I could do. This is the next idea.
My next idea was the picture of the eye with a faded picture of the world within the eye. I created this by turning the opacity down on the earth to make it look like it is the eye ball. This idea was stemmed from the name of our song, See the World. After this idea I thought I had finished but then after asking my group and looking at it myself I realised it needed something else.
This is the final piece of media text I created. I thought is idea was a bit more atheistically pleasing. I feel I have advertised the band name well and represented them as a unique and stylish band. I have kept the same ideas for the rest of the digipak, using one colour that stands out and the rest of the image black and white.

ReplyDeleteyes i agree the images are very striking. the shadowing effect helps to give it more depth.
ReplyDeleteI feel that the text could be a bit more inspired as it is rather plane.
The colour of his shirt standing out is also something good however i think was a stroke of luck.
I love the front cover for the album, it's really eye catching and links to the albums name but still features the artist. All the other images tie into the video and are really striking.
